The full source code for Eraser v5.3 is available under the GNU General Public License. A copy of the license is included in the source archive.

Please study the license carefully before distributing modified binaries or source code. You may also want to consult the GPL FAQ.

Further information about code structure, build environment, and compiling the code can be found in the file "readme-source.txt". The source archive also contains a digital signature for verifying its authenticity.

Using the Eraser library

The library interface was rewritten for version 5.0, and it can now be accessed using any programming language capable of performing standard system calls. For sample code, see the source code for any of the included applications.

Please notice that any application using the Eraser library must be licensed under the GNU GPL. Yes, this is intentional.
